![]() Is it a pipe dream to imagine 6x10 cab being pushed by this, and would it even be worth it? I guess unless the difference in output db is night and day, I wouldn't consider it worth it.If your goal is simply more output then it is probably not worth it. It's really not something that I need to know why it works, although if the information is presented in a way my noggin can absorb, I will try. My main concern is this: If I decide to run an extension cab, how many 12's (or 10's even) can I actually use, at what ohmage, what wattage, etc, to get any noticable and significant increase in signal (output db)? Is it a pipe dream to imagine 6x10 cab being pushed by this, and would it even be worth it? I guess unless the difference in output db is night and day, I wouldn't consider it worth it. This is all I know, can't find a manual online anywhere.įirst, I realize that 60W may not be able to get as loud as I would like. The speakers in it now (2x12") are Sunn labeled, Model 260, 16 Ohms, 80W RMS, 160W Program. The point is that it can run extension speakers. I can't find a lot of information about it anywhere. I have acquired a Sunn SL-260 guitar amp, 60W solid state. I don't do live sound, PAs or anything, so I am completely lost here. actually, it's not generally something I need to know a ton about, and all of the info is making my head spin. I've been searching past posts about putting extension speakers out from a combo amp, and unfortunately, I'm getting really confused about ohms, watts, RMS. ![]()
